Our EAP program is an intensive English language program design for students who: Have not been accepted by a university program, but want to improve their academic reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. Have a conditional acceptance to a university degree program but do not have a high enough TOEFL, IELTS, CAEL, or other language proficiency test score. Are graduate and undergraduate students who want additional language training to help them be successful in their degree programs Each EAP term is 10 weeks long, with 25 hours of study per week. This includes:
Intensive instruction in Listening and Speaking including presentation, discussion, lecture and note-taking skills. Intensive instruction in Reading and Writing including essay and report writing, reading strategies, critical thinking, and research skills. Concentrated study in specific areas including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, communication skills, and technical English.
